South Beach Sizzles with the Sobe Food and Wine Fest!
February 24, 2014
Has there ever been a more exciting time to be a resident of Miami Beach? We don’t think so. With spring on the horizon, the residents of Miami Beach can hardly tell. From December, through January, and now into February the temps are soaring and the beach bodies are tanning! It is hard to walk down the street and miss the tourist conversations of snow, blizzards, and freezing rain their friends, relatives, and co-workers are all enduing “back at home”. It seems as though South Florida is the ultimate oasis of the Lower 48. Even places like Tallahassee Florida have seen freezing rain and frost this year. But as for us South Floridians we are nearly oblivious to the season. The newer residents of Miami Beach can be seen walking around with wide grins on their face with a fresh memory of what kind of weather lies just north of their newfound paradise.
While we could go on and on about our number 1 rated climate, Miami Beach is more than just a sunny day. The South Beach Food and Wine Festival made huge waves this year! Just the smells that came from the beach festival were enough to make your mouth water. Residents and tourists alike have enjoyed the South Beach Food and Wine Festival for several years now, each year improving upon itself and quickly becoming one of the top rated culinary experiences available. Drawing in major chefs like Rachael Ray, and Emeril Lagasse, this year’s festival was a major success. The wine, liquor, and gourmet food selections are out of this world and in unlimited supply upon entry! The best experience was for the residents, who didn’t deal with the parking woes, or the traffic in and out of the island. Next year you too can simply stroll on over and have your fill of some of the worlds most delicious foods and perfectly crafted drinks!
See you on the beach!
