Ray Janssen
Raised in Hong Kong, Ray Janssen is truly an international man with a background that has made selling in an international market seem all the more comfortable. With Dutch-Indonesian parents, his formative years were spent at Hong Kong International School and university at the United States Air Force Academy.
After serving his country as an officer in the United States Air Force and as a Gulf a War Veteran, Ray transitioned to civilian status by returning to graduate school. He attended and earned a Masters in International Business from the prestigious Arizona-based Thunderbird School of Global Management- one of the world’s most innovative graduate programs and ranked as the #1 school of international business. This not only reinforces Ray’s global mindset, business skills and social responsibility but also serves him well as a top real estate professional. His understanding of the global market and how it effects our local market give Ray great insight to assist many of his international clientele.
Happy and more than content makes a great realtor and Ray with his husband, Craig, and son live their life to the fullest each day. Weekends are for exploration and family time with all of South Florida at their feet. From the local museums, discovery centers, aquatic centers this family spends time together and appreciates every minute.
Ray’s passport takes him all over the globe from Barcelona to Hong Kong which reminds him that coming back to Miami, he actually calls home in a town where hundreds of nationalities are living & visiting. Being a good son is as important as being a great husband and father. His parents have seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren and are known as Oma & Opa. Ray’s mother with her Indonesian cooking keeps Ray close to the apron perhaps inspiring Ray & his family to become foodies at heart.
